Yetta Draper, 85, formerly of Westfield and currently of Fanwood, NJ passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 30, 2013, with her daughters by her side. A memorial service for Yetta will be held at Gray Funeral Home, 318 East Broad Street, Westfield, NJ 07090, 908.233.0143, on Saturday, 11AM September 28, 2013. luncheon will follow at the family's home. Born and raised in Hamburg, NY, Yetta was the daughter of the late William and Henrietta Kronenberg. A graduate of Centenary College, Yetta went on to marry her true love, Ray Draper. The two began their marriage as young photojournalists traveling the US and Mexico. Throughout those years, Yetta gained a profound interest in American Indian Reservations. Ray's later occupation took his young family to the New York area where they settled in Westfield. After raising her children Yetta returned to work creating a career that elevated her to branch manager for Maritiz Market Research. Yetta will be remembered for her creative entertaining, loving and caring nature and her generosity to charities that made a difference. Yetta was predeceased by her husband, Ray in 2005. She is survived by her daughters Shaun Draper and husband Jack Burrows of New York City and Ocean Grove, NJ and Stacey Draper of Fanwood, NJ in addition to many loving cousins and truly wonderful friends.
