Wallace William Mac Fadyen

Wallace W. Mac Fadyen Wallace W. Mac Fadyen, 83 passed away peacefully at Trinitas Hospital on October 21, 2013 with his wife and son at his side. Services will be Friday, October 25, 2013 at 11AM. at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Avenue, Cranford. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield. Visitation and life celebration will be on Thursday from 2-4, 7-9 pm at the funeral home. Go to grayfuneralhomes.com for on line condolences. Wallace was born in Kearny, N.J. and lived in Elizabeth for many years and then over 40 years in Cranford. Wally was a member of Azure-Masada Masonic Lodge #22 in Cranford and Past Patron of Azure Chapter #87, Order of the Eastern Star in Cranford. Masonic and Eastern Star services will be on Thursday evening at the Funeral Home. He was a long time member of the Cranford United Methodist Church where he served as church treasurer for many years and was also a member of many committees. Wally worked for First Union Bank, now Wells Fargo for his whole career as an accountant. He attended Banking school in Madison, Wisconsin. He served in the United States Marines Corp from1951 thru 1954. He was stationed in Korea. He was a very proud Marine. Wally was predeceased by his Father, Wallace Mac Fadyen and Mother, Margaret Walker Mac Fadyen, and beloved wife of 26 years Margaret Kreis Mac Fadyen. Surviving are his beloved wife of 27 years Carol Lambert Mac Fadyen, his son Scott Mac Fadyen and his wife Patricia Mac Fadyen, their son Kevin Mac Fadyen and daughter Stephanie. Step son John Halligan, his wife Karen Halligan, daughter Tracy Cepparulo and her husband Anthony Cepparulo and Tricia Halligan. Step son Paul Halligan, his wife Suzette Halligan and son Sean Halligan and daughter, Alexandra Halligan. Surviving also his loving sisters Margaret Murray and Ann Barr and her husband Roger Barr. He was a loving and caring grandfather to his grandchildren and was to be a Great Grandfather in January from his grandchild Tracy Cepparulo and her husband Anthony Cepparulo. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loved him and special friends to cherish his memory. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cranford United Methodist Church Elevator Fund, 201 Lincoln Avenue East, Cranford, N.J. 07016. 908-276-0936.
