Vilbina Guertin "Beanie" Tanzer

Vilbina Guertin "Beanie" Tanzer, 85 of Cranford, passed away on Sunday January 27, 2019. Beanie's visitation will begin at 10AM Saturday February 2nd at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Ave. Cranford, where her memorial service will follow at 11:30 AM Saturday. Born in Elizabeth, to Louis and Gladys Ditzel Guertin, Beanie was a lifelong resident of Cranford. A 1953 graduate of Cranford High School, Beanie enjoyed following NASCAR racing, and was a fan of the Oakland Raiders. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family at their home in Manahawkin. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, John L. Tanzer, loving son: David L. Tanzer and his wife Elizabeth, two dear brothers: Robert Guertin and his wife Carol, and Ronald Guertin and his wife Lori. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, or to Atlantic Care Hospice.
