Valerie Anne Frank, formerly of Westfield, passed away on August 3rd at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born October 10, 1947, she was a graduate of Westfield High School and Kean University. Valerie was a member of a historical re-creation group for decades. She had a love for music and theater and was a faithful patron of the Metropolitan Opera of NYC for almost 40 years. She traveled extensively, from California to Europe to Hong Kong to Egypt, and counted the years she lived in Germany as the happiest of her life. She was a kind and generous friend, and a devoted daughter and niece. Valerie is predeceased by her parents Theodore Frank and Florence (Edge) Frank, her Aunt Grace (Edge) Eisner as well as other aunts and uncles. She is survived by cousins and friends, who feel a great loss.
A memorial service will take place at 11:00am, August 28th at Gray's Funeral Home, Cranford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
