Theresa Johanna Huljack

Theresa Johanna Huljack, a cherished mother and grandmother, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, at the age of 76. Born in Hillside, NJ, to Anthony and Mary Hatalla, Theresa married Victor E. Huljack, Jr. on October 24, 1971, sharing 51 years. They raised nine children and twenty grandchildren in Roselle and Toms River, NJ.

Theresa was a clerical assistant for Roadway Express and an enterprising business owner. Her sewing room was a sanctuary, where she found joy in crocheting and embroidery for her loved ones. Theresa embarked on adventures that took her around the globe. She leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and strength.

She is survived by her brother Anthony Hatalla and wife, Patricia Hatalla; her children Michelle Balseiro and son in law, Marc Balseiro, and their son Marc; Victor Huljack III and daughter in law, Cynthia Huljack, and their children Ashley and Christopher; Theresa Huljack and her son, Jonathan; Jennifer Rosas and son in law, James Rosas, and their children Desiree, Joshua and Abagail; Denise Ropp and her children Ella and Carson; Katherine DaSilva and son in law, Brian DaSilva, and their children Sophia, Elena, Adelai, and Ellie; Stephen Huljack and his children Anthony and Noah; Carol Ruzzo and son in law, Matthew Ruzzo, and their children, Benjamin, Jacob, and Henry; Marianne Sass and son in law Michael Sass, and their children Evan and Madelyn.

Theresa’s Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Avenue, Cranford, NJ, where her prayer service will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday December 20, 2025.
