Shirley Betty (Nee Witenberg) Fischer

With a heavy heart, we regret to announce that Shirley Fischer passed away in her sleep on Wednesday, March 14, 2018.
Shirley B. Fischer, 88, Born May 12, 1929 to Goldie and Nathan Witenberg in Middletown, CT. She graduated from Middletown High School and Toby Coborn School for Fashion careers with a specialization in merchandizing. She worked for Federated Department Stores for over 40 years, having retired 3 years ago from Macy's in Short Hills Mall. She was preceded in death by her husband: Lawrence Fischer, her daughter: Wendy Morgan and her brother: Earl Witenberg. She is survived by her daughter and son-in law: Diane and Philip Morse, three grandchildren: Amy (with husband Thomas) Smith, Daniel Morse and Jessica Morse. She is survived by her great- grandson: Benjamin Smith (son of Amy and Thomas Smith). Shirley is also survived by her son in-law: Richard Morgan and sister-in-law: Carol Eagle, niece: Susan Fisher and nephew: William Wittenberg and other nieces and nephews from her husband's family.
