Scott D. Gray, 58, formerly of Westfield, passed away peacefully after a sudden illness, on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, where he resided, at The All American Adult Facility, in
Hillsborough, N.J.
As a 1979 Westfield High School graduate, Scott was employed at The
OCUC, where he was empowered by an educational curriculum. In his earlier years, Scott was an active participant in union county's Special Olympics. As a devout parishioner, he volunteered at The Presbyterian Church, assisting with the Youth Sunday School program. After moving to south Jersey, Scott continued as a devoted family man.
Scott was skilled and gifted. He engaged in camping, golfing, biking, swimming, travel, board games, cards, and movies.
He will Be forever cherished in our hearts.
Scott was predeceased by his parents, Dean and Jessie Gray, both of Westfield. He is survived by one brother, Brion, three sisters, Lynn, Lauren, and Kathryn; one brother in law, Nicholas, and seven nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Gray Funeral Home on Friday, November 1, 2019, at 10am, where visitation will begin at 9am. Interment with his parents will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. Please go to: www.grayfuneralhomes.com to offer condolences.
