Sally Sanders

SALLY SANDERS, 97, of Garwood, died Monday June 12, 2017 at her residence.
Sally's visitation will be on Wednesday June 14th, from 4:00-8:00PM, at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Avenue, Cranford, where her funeral service will begin at 10AM Thursday June 15, 2017. Born Sarah Crawford Brown in Ballymoney, County Antrim, in Northern Ireland, Sally as she came to be known by her family and friends, arrived in the US at the young age of 4 years old. She would later become a full citizen of her new country on March 26, 1962. A 63 year resident of Garwood, Sally was retired from the former American Can Co. of Hillside, NJ. She was a longtime member of the Garwood Presbyterian Church, and the Garwood Senior Citizens. She was the beloved wife of the late: John B. Sanders, and dear sister of the late Samuel, Raymond, and Josephine Brown. Sally is survived by two sons: Ron Sanders (Jennifer), Ken Sanders (Brenda), three grandchildren: Erica Hausch (Don), Sean and Keith Sanders, three great grandchildren: Alyssa, Joseph, and Jessica and several nieces and nephews.
