Ryan Christopher Mee, 25, of Delran, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2020 in the arms of his true love and high school sweet heart.
Ryan Christopher was born in Livingston, New Jersey on July 1, 1994 to Steven Scott Mee and Jennifer Palumbo Mee. He came into this world kicking and screaming, but then quickly smiled up into his momma's eyes. Ryan's vivacious nature just poured out from the beginning and the spark he ignited with his beautiful soul still shines brightly in all those he touched during his short life time.
Ryan graduated from Delran High School in June of 2012, after that he spent time living with his grandparents and working at Tavern on the Lake. His grandparents, Henry and Fran Palumbo showed him the ropes. In time, Ryan moved onto Fanwood, NJ and spent time with his aunt, Stefanie Palumbo Hansen, George Hansen and his cousins. He learned how to tape, spackle and paint a house like a true professional. Ryan eventually settled back in Delran closest to those he adored.
Ryan learned many things in his life but what came naturally to him was pure kindness, love, affection, his sense of adventure, his heart of pure gold, and the art of making others laugh with his outstanding sense of humor. Ryan could light up a room in an instant, and have friends, family or strangers alike laughing and smiling. During the darkest moments, Ryan could turn things around with his jokes, impressions, and the sweet sound of his contagious laughter. From childhood, Ryan always stood up for the underdog, he never judged anyone and urged others to do the same.
Ryan loved spending time with his family and the love of his life, Maria Violet Perdunn. How he loved singing and dancing with Maria....anywhere at any time. Ryan shared a special bond with his sister, Alexandra Elizabeth Mee. They helped each other see the sunshine and shared all of life's ups and downs together. Their bond was second to none.
Many things were special to Ryan, playing basketball on a sunny afternoon, bike riding, hiking, driving, listening to music, and handing out blessing bags that he kept in the back of his car to the homeless. Most of all Ryan enjoyed his love of music. He enjoyed various artists, and music he learned from his dad and mom especially. Ryan would belt out "Born to Run" and quickly change it up to "Ain't No Mountain High Enough." Ryan was just so amazingly funny, loveable, kind and generous with everything and everyone.
Ryan is survived by his mother, Jennifer Palumbo Mee, his sister Alexandra Elizabeth Mee, his true love, Maria Violet Perdunn, his grandparents, Annette Palumbo, Charles Plungis, Henry and Fran Palumbo, Dolores Mee and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Ryan was pre-deceased by his adoring father, Steven Scott Mee, his grandfather Harry S. Mee and his uncle, Henry J. Palumbo, Jr.
Heaven has gained another angel who was an absolulte gentle giant with an old soul. Until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand. Godspeed Ryan Christopher Mee.
