Ryan Baker Quinn

March 24, 1999 — June 20, 2021

Everyone has a story. This is Ryan's. Ryan was born on March 24,1999 and loved beyond words. We learned shortly after that Ryan was unable to thrive due to brain mass that failed to develop. Doctors said if he made it thru the night, week, month or year it would be a miracle. He was diagnosed with a mountain of challenges including quadriplegia, seizures, blindness and chronic lung infections. Ry was dependent for every need and certainly knew and engaged with all those close to his heart. He he has learned and experienced so much throughout the years. Without the help of our: parents, family, friends, teachers, his best bud Marina, and for sure the constant excitement of having the best three younger siblings ever Hunter, Jackson, and Addi, help from the community and his doctors, we could not have gotten this far without you. Thank you all. Against all odds, we made it to 22 years later and to us, Ryan has always been perfect just the way he was and he always will be.

To know Ryan is to love him. His smile fills your heart with joy when he offers a warm hello and his eyes twinkle just so. Though he has no words he yells excitedly for all those precious things in life, no matter how big or small: Music has always been one of Ryan's biggest motivators, he loves it all: James Taylor, Michael Jackson, Coldplay, Garth Brooks, LedZeppelin and so much more! He loved swim and swing time, tons of hugs, and listening to stories or events of the day in English and Spanish. He loved our awesome singing and silly dance moves, parties of every kind, walks at the park, to town or on the beach, and camping trips, too. He loved BBQs in the yard with the warm sun on his face, nights at the boardwalk, foot and hand massages, lazy days on the boat, road trips, theme parks, fairs, festivals, and holidays were full of crazy love. Ry was a big Cranford Cougar Fan, and loved cheering for his siblings at all of their sporting events. Last year in June of 2020 Ryan graduated from High School at the Jardine Academy where he attended for 10 years, they are a second family to us and will always be. Together, we have shared tons of memories, especially, all of those fun proms, school and family picnics, above and beyond seasonal concerts and the Drive by Parade of Cars and Busses to celebrate Ry's 2020 graduation during Covid, had us 'smiling in tears' for days.

If Ryan could've told us what he thinks and feels and knows, it would certainly be brilliant and heart warming, we just know it. Ryan could melt your heart in an instant, and wipe away all struggles and worries with just one hug. We have always tried our very best to fill our family life with love, laughter, togetherness, health, comfort, new experiences and fun. Ry was one of a kind and we are so lucky to have been blessed with his love and the many gifts he shared with us everyday that we will treasure forever.

Ryan is the bravest, purest, and sweetest soul we have ever known. He is a courageous warrior that has risen everyday to face unimagineable challenges while wearing his biggest smile, beautiful heart, and most comfy daily mountain climbing "slippers." He has taught us repeatedly that patience, love, strength and kindness to ourselves and others endures all. Ryan inspires us to love life with all we have through the good and the difficult everyday, just like he did! He has always been our angel and now he is Heaven's angel, watching over us. Keep on smiling Ry, you are forever in our hearts, we love you so very much!
