Russell G. Parsell

Russell Parsell was born on December 3, 1921 in Westfield, NJ in the East Broad Street home adjacent to Fairview Cemetery. Russell lived in Westfield for most of his 94 years.
He retired from Merck in Rahway after more than 30 years of service.
Russell was a World War II Veteran and an avid fisherman. He loved fishing, family, animals, gardening and puzzles.
He loved his wife, Adele. Russ and Adele were married June 21, 1947 and celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary before she passed away in June.
Russell is survived by his four children: Russell & his wife Kathy, Robert, Susan & her husband Charlie, and Ruth Desiree & her husband Jerry. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Krista, Tara, Matthew, Robert, Daniel, Samantha, Jason, Ceanna, and Emily, and five great grandchildren: Jake, Max, Sydney, Jessica and Bryce.
Russell will be laid to his final rest at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield.
