Robert Hargro

Robert Hargro was born February 3,1942 in North Carolina. He departed this life on April 17, 2020. Robert had a love for music of all types- Motown, Jazz, R&B, Classical, early Rock and Roll and country. He enjoyed the hustle and bustle of New York City where he worked for over 35 years and could be routinely seen in a hat of his favourite NFL team, the NY Jets. Robert leaves behind to cherish his memory, four children; Dennis (Ohio), Ivan (Switzerland), Robyn (NJ) and Maya Hargro (NJ), spouse Denise Hargro (NJ) and 12 grandchildren (Dennis Jaquan, Amber, Adonis, William, Dennis Jr., Chad, Ashley, Isis, Ireland, Olyvia, Sebastian, and Nova. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Sr. and Mamie (Word) Hargro; one sister, Ida Mae Logan; seven brothers, Jozelle, Leroy, Fred, Virgil Jr., John, Charles, Jesse O. Hargro; and one grandchild, Henna Hargro. He is survived by two brothers, Andrew and Donald Hargro of Charlotte, NC and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
