Robert William Graul

Robert W. "Bob" Graul Jr., 89, of Scotch Plains, NJ, died Tuesday December 3, 2013, at his residence. Bob's Life Celebration will begin at 11:30AM Thursday December 12, 2013, at Gray Funeral Directors, A Life Celebration Home, 318 E. Broad St., Westfield, where his funeral service will begin at 12 Noon Thursday. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield. Born in Newark, NJ, to Robert W. and Marguerite Woelper Graul, Bob served his country during World War II, as a veteran of the US Navy. He was retired from PSE&G, Elizabeth, NJ after many years of service. Bob enjoyed travelling with his family, having visited all 50 states. Throughout his retirement he liked camping, fishing, painting, arts and crafts. He was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church in Westfield, and the American Legion Post # 209, Scotch Plains, NJ. Bob is survived by his loving wife, and travelling partner Edith May Williams Graul, their two children: son: Robert J. Graul of Scotch Plains, daughter: Susan Lynn Weiss and husband Daniel of Brick, NJ, granddaughter: Ashley Michele Weiss of Brick, NJ, and grandson: Vincent G. Weiss of Phoenix, AZ.
