Robert Lincoln Fink

Robert Lincoln Fink, 93, formerly of Westfield, died on April 6, 2018, at the Pigeon Forge, TN, Care and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Elizabeth, NJ to the late George E. and Laura Bean Fink, Bob grew up in Westfield, where he was active with the Westfield YMCA, and was a 1947 graduate of Westfield High School. A veteran of World War II, serving in the US Navy, Bob was a graduate of Springfield, MA College, and received his Masters degree from the University of Bridgeport, CT. In 1952, Mr. Fink was hired as the Director of Physical Education at the YMCA in Wilmington, DE ,then later served in the same role at the YMCA in Perth Amboy. In 1971, Bob became the Pool Director, and swimming coach at the Norwalk, CT High School. He and his wife Barbara later owned and operated the Discount Wine and Liqour Store on Westport Avenue in Norwalk, CT. In 2015, they retired to Gatlinburg, TN.
Robert is survived by his loving wife Barbara Grace Fink (nee Murphy), four children: Linda McNamara, Joann Vanak and her husband William, Beverly Diane Fink (MarK Fliss). Robert Steven Fink, seven grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and niece Alice Laura Dodd.
