Mr. Robert L. Chavern age 89 passed away peacefully at the Runnells Specialized Hospital in Berkeley Heights, NJ.
Born in Glassport, Pennsylvania, he lived in California, and most recent in Cranford, New Jersey.
Bob was a retired Art Teacher and Potter for the Los Angeles Unified School District. He also served our country during World War Two in the Army Air Corps.
No visitation. There will be a memorial service and life celebration held at a later date at the Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Avenue. Please revisit our web site for further details.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Dusch-Chavern. A step son, James E. Dusch. A sister, Norma and her husband Peter Kopko. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews,
