Pauline Smith

Pauline Smith, a Longtime Resident of Roselle Park, NJ passed away on 11/24/2019 at the age of 88 after an extended illness. She was a resident in the Cranford Rehabilitation & Nursing Home at the time of her passing. Pauline was Born & Raised in the small city of Caguas, Puerto Rico on 6/30/31.She was 17 years of age when her family moved to the United States and settled in Newark, NJ before moving on to Belleville, NJ where she met & married her husband.

Pauline was predeceased by her loving husband, Edward P. Smith, II in 2013. Pauline was a longtime caregiver and worked for many years as a "Baby Technician" caring for infants and newborns in many hospitals throughout New Jersey during the course of her career.

Pauline is survived by her 7 Children and their Spouses : Edward Diaz & his wife Vanessa , Robert Roman & his wife Norma, Anthony Smith & his wife Alice, Dolores Smith, Edward P. Smith, Ill & his wife Grace, Patricia & her husband Brian Clarke, and Michelle &
her husband John Loutas. Pauline had the great fortune of having 16 Grandchildren as well as 4 Great Grandchildren to share her days with.

Pauline Smith's viewing and Life Celebration will be held on Friday, November 29, 2019 from 4-9 pm at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Ave. in Cranford, NJ .

The Funeral will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 8:30 am with a Celebration of her Funeral Mass at 9:30 am, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Cranford , NJ.

Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, in Woodbridge NJ.

In lieu of flowers, a Memorial Contribution can be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital for Children, a favorite Charity for both Pauline & Edward P. Smith
