Patricia Lynn (Britton) Kopp, 70, died at 4:30 PM. On Monday, March 26, 2018 at
Center For Hope, Peggy's House in Scotch Plains, NJ. She was the wife of Robert W. Kopp. Both Robert
and Patricia have been Scotch Plains residents for over 39 years. There will be no viewing. Cremation will
be arranged by Gray Funeral Home in Westfield and will take place at the Rosehill Crematory, Linden, NJ. A
Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a date to be announced later. Patricia was born on March 19,
1948, in Plainfield NJ and grew up with her family in Mountainside, NJ. She was the sixth of seven
children of the late Josiah A. and Florence E. (McLaughlin) Britton. She was employed at The Austin Co.
for 9 years and with The Bayway Refinery in Linden, NJ for 30 plus years. Her final position at the refinery
was as buyer of rotating equipment. She was a graduate of Governor Livingston Regional H.S. Class of
1966 and a graduate of the Berkley School. Patricia L. Kopp was preceded in death by her sister Marian
Crawford and is survived by her husband Robert, four sisters (Alice Seidel, Phyllis Weinstein, Eleanor
Landry and Maureen Warren) and their husbands, one brother (J. James Britton) and his wife, thirteen
nieces and nephews and their spouses and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Patricia
and Robert had no children but they both dearly love their siblings and their families. They both are also
lovers of all shapes and sizes of dogs. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the
