Nancy L. Boyle

Nancy Lynn Boyle
November 13, 1940 – June 4, 2016

Nancy Lynn Boyle was born on November 13, 1940 to Lillian and Thomas Boyle. She had one older brother, Tommy, who has preceded her into the Lord's presence. She leaves behind two younger brothers, Art and Dan; along with 17 nieces & nephews and their families. Nancy passed peacefully into eternal life on June 4, 2016.

Nancy attended Emmaus Bible School in Oak Park, Illinois. After completing college, she established the Tiny Tots Nursery School where she was affectionately known as Miss Nancy. For 44 years she enjoyed teaching hundreds of 3 and 4 year olds about the wonders of God's creation and the joys of life. She shared many Bible stories with the children, and talked about God's indescribable gift of sending his Son to live as a man on earth, to die as a sacrifice for our sins and rise again on the third day thus defeating death itself.

Nancy enriched so many lives through her love, wisdom, patience and kindness. She always had the time to listen, spoke with a gentle tone in her voice, and saw the best in everyone. Her warm caring and love for the kids she taught was felt by many. She taught several generations, as some parents who had attended Tiny Tots preschool later sent their children to attend preschool also.

Nancy found joy in simple beauties each day. She enjoyed smelling the flowers, watching the birds, doing arts & crafts with children, or having a relaxing cup of tea with a friend. She was usually able to tell you the names of flowers, birds and trees. About a year ago, a bird that she didn't recognize landed on the driveway in front of us. The bird stayed and looked us over for an unusually long time while Nancy talked to it. She had a way with her words!

While family & friends grieve for losing Nancy, we know that she is in a far better place now; and that as we are trusting in Jesus as our Lord and Savior we will see her again. We cherish the loving impact she had on all of our lives.

The Boyle family wishes to thank all who helped in many ways during her recent times of need, and appreciate those who have taken the time to remember and celebrate her life with us.

A Memorial Service for Nancy will be held on Saturday, June 25th from 10-12 at Cranford United Methodist Church, 201 Lincoln Ave. E. Cranford, NJ 07016.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kenilworth Library or to the American Cancer Society.
