Mrs. Raffaela Gargiulo

Raffaela Gargiulo age 83 passed away on Sunday, May 15th. She was the widow of Gaetano Gargiulo who she was married to for over 50 years. She was born in Battipaglia, Italy and immigrated to the US with Gaetano, and their two children, Salvatore and Tina in 1967. She and Gaetano lived in Brooklyn, NY until 2010 when they moved to Kenilworth, NJ.
Raffaela loved to cook, sew, play cards with family and friends and traveling to Italy to visit with relatives. She is survived by her daughter Tina, her husband Stephen, daughter in-law Mary and 5 grandchildren, Daniel, Michelle, Eric, Kyla and Sara.
Viewing will be on Thursday, May 20th at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Avenue, Cranford, NJ from 9:30 – 11:00AM. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Staten Island, NY.
