Michael J. Azzolino, 80 years old, of Elmwood Park, NJ passed away on March 1, 2020 after a long illness. Michael was born in Newark, NJ on January 14, 1940 to Jenny (nee Casa Massima) and Frank Azzolino. He graduated from Newark's Central High School in 1958. Michael was a member of The Apollos recording artists known for their songs "I Love You Darling" and "Bandstand Baby." He enjoyed golfing and was a big fan of The NY Yankees and The NY Giants. Moving forward in life he co-founded "Applied Tech Services" based in Parsippany, NJ. He was most recently employed by Benefit Providers in Fairfield, NJ. Michael is survived by his loving children, Anthony F. and Janine M. Azzolino, his former wife Carol his siblings: Brother Joseph and wife Dolly, Sisters Rose and Anne and Anne's husband Tom and Nephew Frank.
Services for Family and Friends will be held at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Ave., Cranford, NJ on Thursday March 5th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with interment immediately following at Hollywood Memorial Park and Cemetery Mausoleum, 1500 &1621 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ.
