Mary Petrovcik

Mary Petrovcik (nee Gallagher), 86, passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease on Tuesday, November 17, 2015. Mary was born in County Donegal, Ireland and moved to the United States in 1952. She married the late Jan Petrovcik and raised her family in Jersey City before moving to Fishkill, New York in 1985. She spent the last eight years as a resident of Brighton Gardens in Mountainside, New Jersey.
Mary is predeceased by her husband and her eldest son, John. She is survived by her triplet children: Kenneth and his wife Melanie of Belvidere, New Jersey; Ann Marie of Stamford, Connecticut; and Kevin and his wife Susan of Westfield, New Jersey. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Linda of Kissimmee, Florida, two sisters Brigid O'Donnell of County Tyrone, Northern Ireland and Katie McLaughlin of County Donegal, Ireland, and one brother James Gallagher also of County Donegal, Ireland. She was the proud grandmother of Michael, Nicholas, Cory, Courtney, Jack, Jamie, Jake and Harry along with three great-grandchildren.
Visitation and life celebration will be on Friday from 4 to 8 pm at Gray Funeral Home 318 E. Broad Street, Westfield. A mass of Christian burial will be 9:30 am Saturday November 21, 2015 at Holy Trinity R.C. Church with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield.
