Manuel J. Evaristo

Mr. Manuel J. Evaristo passed away on Thursday March 9, 2017 at his residence in Westfield.

Before moving to Westfield, Manuel lived in Garwood and Newark, NJ.

Manuel served his country in The United States Army during the Korean conflict. He was a life member of the V.F.W.. He was also a member of Knights of Columbus, Bloomfield Council, and a member of St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church in Garwood.

Manuel worked as an Operating room Orderly at St. James Hospital in Newark from where he retired in 1995. Before that he worked for Otis Elevator.

He is pre deceased by his loving wife Antoinette with whom he was married for 61 years. He is survived by his daughters, Victoria Robak, and her husband Anthony. Cheryl S. Seiler, and her husband James, He is also survived by his grandchildren, Alyssa, and Stephanie Robak. Jennifer and Andrew Seiler.

No visitation. A Mass of Memorial will be held, Saturday May 13, 2017 at 10 am at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church in Garwood.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in his memory to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Judes Place, Memphis TN 38105.
