Madeline M. Halpin Former Westfield resident, Assistant VP of mortgage company Madeline McWeeney Halpin, 88, passed away June 5th at Mercerville Center in Hamilton Township, NJ after an 11 year battle with Alzheimer's. Madeline's Life Celebration will be 3:00-7:00PM Monday June 9th, at Gray Funeral Directors, 318 E. Broad St., Westfield. Her funeral mass will be 10AM Tuesday June 10, 2014, at St. Helen's Catholic Church, Westfield. Interment will follow in Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth. She was the loving wife of the late Robert Halpin. She is survived by her sister, Helen Murphy and sister-in-laws, Ollie McWeeney and Dolores Studnicky; her 3 children, Robert and Kathleen in Robbinsville, NJ and Patricia and her husband Wayne Pavlinet in Oceanport, NJ. She has 3 wonderful grandchildren, Connor, Anna and Alex Pavlinet and numerous nieces and nephews. She worked for the FBI, Jersey Mortgage Company in Elizabeth and was AVP at Commonwealth Mortgage Company in Westfield. She was born in Huntington Long Island and grew up in Brooklyn NY. She lived in Paterson, Roselle, Westfield and Brick, NJ Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, alz.org.
