Lynne Marie Hogan age 55 passed away on May 10, 2016, surrounded by her family at the Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains, NJ.
Lynne was born on February 8, 1961 in Trenton, New Jersey, grew up in Willingboro, NJ, spent her earlier adult years living in Margate, NJ and working at Bally's Grand Casino. She married on October 3, 1992 and moved to Cranford, NJ to raise a family and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cranford. Lynne was a preschool teacher at The Little School House in Elizabeth, NJ and previously worked in the financial and hotel & casino industries. She enjoyed skiing, running, hiking, sailing, traveling and anything outdoors. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband Kenneth Hogan, three cherished daughters Celine, Brittany, and Amanda Hogan, and siblings, Marie (Rece) Chilton, twin Lisa Cundiff, and husband Bill, and Robert Proebstle. She is also survived by her in-laws Betty and Al Hogan, sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Larry Robcke as well as several nieces and nephews.
Lynne will always be remembered as the fun-loving, happy, outgoing, positive, caring and loving person that she was.
Visitation and life celebration will be Friday from 4-8 pm at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Avenue in Cranford. Funeral services are 10 am Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church of Cranford, 11 Springfield Avenue, also in Cranford. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield.
