Our beloved Lucilia Rocha Pera Garcia, 92, of Newark, N.J., entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 27, 2014 peacefully at her home.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Lucilia's Life Celebration and visitation at Gray Funeral Home, 318 East Broad St., Westfield, N.J., Tuesday (today) September 30th from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30AM Wednesday October 1, 2014, at St. Helen Catholic Church, Westfield. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
Lucilia was born in Peniche, Portugal, and lived in Newark, N.J. She was the beloved wife of the late Raul Garcia whom he adored. She was a devoted mother of Luci Ramalho, Teresinha Viana and Tony Garcia; mother-in-law to Manuel Ramalho, Tony Viana and Gena Garcia, loving grandmother of Manny, Debbie, Dawn, Erica, Jessica, Tony, Sydney and great-grandmother of Christian, Katie, Madison, Brendan and Chloe.
