Louise "Lou" Rives (Sydnor) Metz

Louise Rives Sydnor Metz, 90, of Chatham NJ, formerly of Mountainside NJ, died February 17th 2017 at Garden Terrace Nursing Home. Mrs Sydnor Metz was born April 27, 1926 in Dinwiddie County Virginia, the daughter of John Will and Olive Rives. She graduated from Longwood College in Virginia and married the late Joe Sydnor Jr in 1947. They had two children, the late Syd Sydnor and Betsy. Lou married the late W. Peter Metz in 2007 and was a member of the Mountainside Community Presbyterian Church from 1956. Mrs Sydnor Metz is survived by her daughter Ms Betsy Sydnor Wrench of London England, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren, two stepsons, and four step grandchildren.
