Louis Delgaizo, a longtime resident of Jersey City and later Cranford, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2017 at the age of 63. Louis was the toastmaster for his large Italian family, leading with grace at every family meal for decades. He was a devoted son, a loving brother and everybody's favorite cousin. He was an active member of Saint Michael's Church and the Cranford Thursday Senior Club. Loving son to Al and Lanny Delgaizo and caring brother to Daryl Delgaizo Levy and husband Steve; beloved Uncle Louie to Alexander and Chloe Levy and Godfather to John J. Tartaglia. Doted on by his many aunts and treasured by his numerous cousins, a true Italian Prince.
Visitation with the family will be held at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Ave in Cranford, on Friday, December 1st from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Saint Michaels RC Church in Cranford, N.J. Burial will follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City, N.J.
