Linn Haskell Smith, formerly of Westfield, NJ passed on November 11th.
Born in 1937 in Buffalo, NY, Linn served honorably in the US Navy before ultimately settling in Westfield to raise his family. He owned The Robert Treat Liquor Shop on Quimby St. In his later years, he found his true calling, becoming a certified substance abuse counselor working with Veterans.
A devoted Husband, Father, and Grandfather, he is survived by his wife Susan, his children Laurie (Chris) and Jeff (Alli), and his adored grandchildren Kayleigh, Erin, Miles, and Harper.
A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 19th, at St. Paul's Church at 414 E. Broad St. Westfield, NJ. Arrangements by Gray Funeral Directors, Westfield. Go to grayfuneralhomes.com for on line condolences.
