Funeral services for Lillian Vogel, who passed away on Oct. 3rd at 102, will be held Wednesday, Oct. 7th. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Gray Funeral Home, 318 E. Born in 1918, Lillian was a long time resident of Mountainside, NJ, moving there with her husband John in 1950. They were happily married for 66 years until his death in 2008. Lillian was an avid reader, enjoyed photography, cooking, listening to old LPs, playing cards with friends and shopping at local garage sales. She had a sharp mind, a fierce love of family and a wicked sense of humor.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Denise Vogel, granddaughter Erin Vogel-Fox and husband Alex, brother-in-law Harold Kreis and many nieces and nephews.
