Lillian Felber Post

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Gray Funeral Home 318 East Broad Street, Westfield for Lillian Felber Post. Mrs. Post, 90, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at the Clark Nursing and Rehabilitaion Center in Clark, NJ. She was born in Newark, NJ and lived in Westfield for more than 43 years before moving to Cranford. Mrs. Post was employed as a secretary for Texas Instruments in Woodbridge for over 20 years. She retired in 1982. Lillian was a member of the Democratic CLub of Westfield and the Presbyterian Church in Westfield. She was also a former Girl Scout Leader. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert Post (1983). Lillian is survived by her daughter, Lois J. Denney. Her siblings; Jane Coolican and George and John Felber. She will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Michael Denney and Gail Dena, and five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to the Alzheimers Association or to one's hospice of choice.
