Lillian Rose Berquist

Lillian R. Berquist (nee Black), 93, a longtime resident of Cranford, died on January 29, 2020. Lillian's visitation will begin at 10AM Tuesday February 4, 2020 at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Ave, Cranford, where her funeral service will begin at 11AM Tuesday. Entombment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden. Born in Bayonne, Lillian was retired from the American Can Co., Hillside. She was previously a school crossing guard in Cranford. In recent years she lived in Arizona, where she was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post #404, Mohave Valley, AZ. She was the beloved wife of the late Norman H. Berquist, and is survived by son: Thomas N. Berquist, daughter: Beverly Tighe, granddaughter: Tricia Tighe, two brothers: William C. Black and Barry T. Black (Linda).
