Leroy P. "Roy" Torrigiani

Leroy "Roy" Torrigiani, 85, passed away at Overlook Hospital on the evening of March 18th, 2022. Born in Brooklyn, NY and formerly of Staten Island, NY, he was a resident of Cranford for over 20 years. He was a loving and loyal husband, father, and grandfather. Surviving are his devoted wife of 59 years, Kathy Torrigiani; his son Rory Torrigiani, daughter Nicole Bobbitt and Son in law Dave Bobbitt, daughter Marny Torrigiani and Son in law Daniel Lawlor; and his loving grandchildren, Quinn, Dempsey and Hadleigh. After a lifelong career in advertising, he had 2 wonderful jobs the he enjoyed immensely. His last job was a crossing guard at Bloomingdale Ave School in Cranford NJ where he was loved by all the kids and families of Cranford. One of his favorite past times was working around the house and often visiting Track Five for his cup of espresso and his daily news. Roy without a doubt enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his grandchildren and wife, the only thing that truly mattered to him. He will be tremendously missed and loved by all. Roy's funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30AM Tuesday March 20,2022 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 40 Alden St., Cranford, followed by interment in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
