Juliet W. Griffin – age 98
Born in Schenectady, NY, Mrs. Griffin lived in Maplewood, NJ, for many years. She was a graduate of Columbia High School and a 1941 graduate of Wilson College, Chambersburg. Prior to her marriage, she was employed in the commercial department of New Jersey Bell Telephone Co., ending her career as business office supervisor in the General Accounts Office.
Mr. And Mrs. Griffin moved to Westfield in 1951. The couple also maintained a winter residence in Daytona Beach Shores, FL for many years.
Mrs. Griffin was an active member of Grace Church and of the Woman's Club of Westfield. She was also a charter member of the Genealogical Society of the West Fields.
Surviving are her husband, Frederick J. Griffin, Jr.; a son, Glenn Ward Griffin, of Red Bank, NJ; a daughter, Mrs. Norman Anderson, of Rowley, MA; and two grandchildren.
