John H. Taylor, 88, passed away on October 2, 2016 at Sunrise of Westfield after a brief illness.
John's memorial service will begin at 10AM today, Wednesday October 5, 2016 at St. Paul Episcopal Church, Westfield, followed by burial in the Garth of St. Paul's. Arrangements by Gray Funeral Directors of Westfield.

He was surrounded by his family and died peacefully. John Taylor was born in Painesville, Ohio on March 4, 1928. He married Eliza Taylor in 1954, and they moved to Westfield, where they raised their family and he lived for the rest of his life. His affiliation with St. Paul's Episcopal church has spanned over 50 years, where he served as an usher for many years. His wife of 60 years, Eliza Kennedy Taylor, died in December, 2014. He is survived by his five children Kate, Creighton, Lee, Ann and John, Jr., his brother's partner Aalan Kobritz, his son-in-law John Flumerfelt and daughter-in-law Colleen O'Connor, and six grandchildren, John, Alexandra and Elizabeth Smythe, Jake and Leah Flumerfelt, and Hayley Edmonston.
