John C. Jaeckel age 71 passed away on January 13, 2019 at his residence in Manahawkin, New Jersey.
Born in Orange, New Jersey, he lived in Kenilworth before moving to Manahawkin.
John worked as a carpenter for the North East Carpenters Union. Before that he served in the United States Navy.
John loved his Nissan 380 ZX. He enjoyed going to Atlantic City, and Key West. Also enjoyed fishing ,clamming, and 70's Rock And Roll.
A life celebration will be on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at Gray Memorial Funeral Home 12 Springfield Avenue in Cranford. A mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Friday January 18, 2019 at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church in Kenilworth. A burial with military honors will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ.
He is pre deceased by his parents Carl and Mary Jaeckel, and a brother Warren. He is survived by his brothers, Brian and Douglas. He was also survived by loving nieces and nephews. ,.
