Irene A. Brodsky

Irene Brodsky 76 of Kenilworth NJ passed away peacefully on August 24, 2023 at 6:16pm. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Irene was born on July 11, 1947 to Eleanor Viscuso in Jersey City, NJ. She graduated from Madison High School in 1965 and Essex County Vocational School in 1976. She worked as a hairstylist for many years which was one of her many true passions in life. 

Irene was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was always there for her family, and she always put their needs first. She was one of the most unforgettable, unique, kind, loving and understanding people. She always lit up a room with her smile. To know her was to love her..

Irene is survived by her husband Jeffrey Brodsky of 49 years; her children, Nikki, David & Eleanor; and her grandchildren, Jason, Bailey & Bronx. She is also survived by her siblings, Micheal & Neva.

A  Life Celebration funeral service will be held at Gray Memorial Funeral Home 12 Springfield Avenue, Cranford, NJ, on September 7, 2023 from 4-8pm.
