Honor H. Bing

On Saturday September 17, 2016 Honor Meta Bing(nee Hipp) went to be with the Lord. She was born on New Years Day 1933 in Newark, NJ. She lived in Irvington for 20 years before moving to Westfield. She was an active member of her church and civic community. She served several terms as PTA president in her children's schools. She was a deacon in her church and taught vacation bible school when her children were young. A loving wife and mother, she is also remembered as a talented artist, quilter and avid gardener. She joins her husband of sixty years Charles W. Bing in eternal rest. She is predeceased by her sons, Charles W. Bing Jr., and Christopher Matthew Bing. She is the mother of Honor Bing-Swimmer and mother in law of Douglas Swimmer of Bridgewater,NJ. Grandmother of Jacob Swimmer and Eric Bing.
A church service at the Westfield Presbyterian Church will take place on Wednesday Sept.21,2016 at 10:00am. with internment immediately following at Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements by Gray Funeral Directors, Westfield. You may go to grayfuneralhomes.com for on line condolences.
