Helen Baer

Helen Baer peacefully passed away on December 14, 2018 at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. Helen was 91 years old. She was born in Roselle, NJ to Frederick and Margaret Dittmann. She is predeceased by George, her husband of 51 years. She graduated from Abraham Clark High School in Roselle. She worked briefly for NJ Bell and L'Oreal. She was a homemaker and survived by her four children, George, John, Linda, and Cathleen. She was a Cranford resident for 63 years. Helen was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cranford. She loved bowling and could be seen at Linden Lanes with her 14 pound ball well into her 80s. She loved watching old movies, especially anything with John Wayne.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) . A memorial service will be held at a later date.
