Giuseppe Iacono

Giuseppe "Joe" Iacono, 85, passed away on September 11, 2013, at Community Hospital in Toms River after a long illness. Giuseppe's Life Celebration will be from 1 to 5 on Sunday September 15, 2013 at Gray Funeral Home, 318 E. Broad St., Westfield N.J. His Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning, September 16, 2013, at 10 a.m. in the Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity, 315 First St., Westfield. Entombment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Born in Ponza, Italy on February 2, 1928, Giuseppe came to the United States in the early 1950's, and lived in Newark, N.J., then was a 50 year resident of Westfield, N.J.. He retired to Bayville, N.J. His beloved wife of 58 years, Civita, passed away in 2011. Giuseppe is survived by his children, Maria Iacono Schettino (Joseph), Diana Iacono Czopek (Alex), Lynda Iacono DiDolce, and Joseph A. Iacono (Zsuzanna), and loved by his eight grandchildren, Lisa DiDolce, Rosemary Czopek, Jennifer (Chris) DeMaio, David (Lisa) Czopek, Elizabeth Schettino, Stephanie DiDolce, Clarrissa Iacono and Ariana Iacono, and two great-granddaughters, Tiffani DiDolce and Angelina DeMaio.
