Gary K. Abline

Gary, "Howie", Kenneth Abline age 58 died Wednesday morning suddenly and unexpectedly from a cardiac event on March 20, 2019 at his home in Largo Florida. He was born in Newark New Jersey, grew up in Colonia NJ where he lived most of his life until relocating to Largo Florida in August 2017. He loved Florida's warm weather and beautiful beaches.
Born to the late Carol Ann Kortenhaus (Abline/Schwankert) and survived by his father Ronald Robert Abline (Dolores). Gary is survived by his older brother Ronald Abline Jr., sister Nancy Merwede (Abline), brother in law Bill Merwede, sister Vicki Abline and brother Shawn Abline. Survived also by loving nieces and nephews, Kelly Szlachtianshyn (Alex), Ronald, "AJ", Abline III, Clifton Abline, Amanda Merwede, Gary Merwede (Chloe)and Zachary Benway. Gary is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Life Celebration will be held Saturday April 27, 2019 at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Ave., Cranford, NJ 07016 from 2 - 5 PM. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to a charity of your choice in his name.
