Gail H. Rosenblum, 84, of Cranford, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on August 19, 2022.
Born on August 15, 1938 in Jersey City, she lived in Cranford for the past 55 years where she raised her two daughters, Alayna and Lynn with her loving husband, Lester, who predeceased her in 2015.
Gail was a retired teacher working in the Montclair school system and as a supplemental teacher in the Cranford schools. She also taught word processing at the Business Science Center in Elizabeth. She started her own word processing business, Gailesco, which she successfully ran for many years. She was a member of Temple Beth-El Mekor Chayim. Gail loved spending time with her family and her passions were her two grandchildren, Atlantic City trips at the poker
table and playing Wordscape on her ipad.
She was the daughter of the late Albert and Rose Gorrin and also adored by her beloved Bubba, Ida Ziperstein and her brother Stanford Gorrin. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Alayna Rosenblum and long-time partner, Steve, and Lynn Mai and her husband Brian and her beloved grandchildren Kathleen and William.
A graveside service will be held at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge by Gray Memorial Funeral Home (go to grayfuneralhomes.com for on line information). In lieu of flowers, kindly send contributions in Gail's memory to Glaucoma research.
A graveside service will be 11am Tuesday August 23 , 2022 at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge. The cemetery is at US highway Rt. 1 at the corner of Gill Lane in Woodbridge . For those going, please meed at the cemetery office.
