Frances De Marco

Frances Ethel DeMarco (nee Jordan) born August 28, 1929 passed away on June 23, 2013 at the Center for Hope Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey after a short illness. Born in Staten Island New York she relocated to Elizabeth New Jersey in 1966 and resided in several communities in New Jersey. Her last residence was located in Cranford New Jersey. She graduated from McKee high School in 1947. After raising her family she worked for a number of years for the postal service located in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Over the years she enjoyed several hobbies including playing bingo and solitaire. She also loved to read, knit and crochet. Her greatest joy was a trip she took to Rome and Jerusalem to visit the Holy Land. She is survived by her husband Joseph DeMarco Sr. They would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on September 4, 2013. Her sister Frances Dowling and her children Anita Tanner, Delores Randazzo , Joseph DeMarco Jr. , Philip DeMarco , Joyce Fleming , Michael DeMarco and Christopher DeMarco . Along with her children she is also survived by her son in laws John Randazzo and Sam Fleming and her daughter in law Kathy DeMarco. She had 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4, 7-9 pm at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Ave. Cranford, NJ. Go to grayfuneralhomes.com for on line condolences. Funeral mass and life celebration will be Wednesday 9:30 am at St. Michael's RC Church in Cranford. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Staten Island.
