Eugenia J. Jacobs

Eugenia J. Jacobs age 86 passed away at her residence in Cranford, NJ on Thursday December 22, 2016.
Born in South Amboy, she spent her childhood in South River. Then moving to Elizabeth, and graduated Batton High School. Then moving to Cranford where she raised her family.
Eugenia worked as a secretary for the Chief Accountant at Bristol Meyers. She then went onto work as a consultant for Verizon.
She is pre deceased by a son Jeffrey Jacobs who passed away in 2002. Eugenia is survived by her loving husband William G. Jacobs, and a son Peter.
Eugenia loved to paint, she earned the Union County Senior Citizen Artist Award. She was also a great cook, and was known for her chicken salad that she made for the Riverside Inn in Cranford.
Visitation and life celebration will be on Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm at Gray Memorial Funeral Home in Cranford. Funeral services are 11 am Wednesday December 28, 2016 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
