Edward L. "Ted" Terry Jr, 99, of Mountainside, NJ, died on Sunday February 5, 2018.
Ted's Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00PM Wednesday February 7th at Gray Funeral Home, 318 E. Broad St., Westfield, where his funeral service will begin at 10AM Thursday February 8, 2018. Born in Scotch Plains to the late: Edward L and Elizabeth Roesel Terry, Ted was a 1937 graduate of Scotch Plains High School. He was a veteran of the US Army Air Corps during World War II, serving in Europe. He received the Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster. He was retired from the Western Electric Co., Kearny, NJ. Ted was a member of the American Legion Post #3, Westfield, and enjoyed golfing. He was preceded in death by his wife: Lorraine Wise Terry, and his two brothers: William and Kenneth Terry. He is survived by his nephew: William P. Terry of Scotch Plains, and nephews: Peter and Michael, and grand nieces and nephews.
