Edward Anthony Carey Jr.

Edward A. “Eddy” Carey Jr, 71, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on October 14, 2023. He was an accomplished attorney who had practiced law for decades and, at one point, owned his own firm. Eddy enjoyed sports, reading, especially history, and cooking in his free time. He was born November 19, 1951 in Plainfield, NJ and grew up in Roselle Park, NJ. He acquired his Bachelor’s degree in history and moved to Boston, MA to study law at Boston College. He continued working in the Boston area in the legal field. He moved back to Lebanon, NJ to be with family.  He is survived by his son, Adam, and nephews, Andrew and Sean. Private arrangements are by Gray Funeral Directors or Cranford.
