Domenica ("Mae") Magliano of Huntington Beach, CA, formerly of Roselle, NJ, passed on April 12, 2015. She was 92 years young.
Friends are invited to Mae's Life Celebration and visitation at Gray Funeral Home, 318 East Broad St., Westfield from 2-4 and 6-8PM Saturday, April 18th and 2-4PM Sunday, April 19th, with her funeral mass at 9:30AM Monday Apr 20, 2015 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Westfield. Born in Manhattan in 1922 to Mary and Peter D'Amico, Mae graduated from Girls' High School in Brooklyn. She married Joe in 1946 after he returned home from Army Service in WW II. They raised their children in Queens, NY and Roselle, NJ. Joe passed away in 1984.Mae is survived by her son James and his wife Gloria Kress of Monroe Township, NJ; her daughter Maria Maritato and her husband Frank of Huntington Beach, CA; and daughter Evelyn Wilhelm and her husband Bill of Westfield, NJ. Her son Peter Magliano predeceased her in 2010. She leaves four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her passions were reading, watching Jeopardy, and cooking. She was known for her artichokes and rice balls (arancini).
