Dennis Michael Retcho

Dennis Michael Retcho, 65, departed this life on January 9,2021 at Morristown Medical
Center He was born on February 8, 1955 in Queens, NY. He was the first born of ten children to
the late William and Rose Retcho.
Dennis previously lived in Linden, NJ and graduated from Burnet school. Dennis enjoyed
the simple things in life: first and foremost his family, a good meal, a hot cup of coffee, a nice
haircut and clean shave, and sitting in the sun by the pool.
Dennis was a resident at Spectrum for Living for the last several years where he enjoyed
bowling, going on dinner cruises, being the house dj, hanging out with his friends and
attending his day program. The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the staff at
Spectrum for Living for showing Dennis love, care and compassion.
Dennis was a man of few words but his friendly and kind demeanor spoke volumes
about his true character. When he spent time with his family he was always doted over and his
family lovingly refers to themselves as "well trained" by Dennis because he was always their first
priority.
Dennis was predeceased by his father and his mother., Surviving are his biggest fans,
brothers, Steven , Robert and wife Caterina, Kevin , William ., John and wife Beth, and his
sisters Denise Alvarez, Elizabeth Kushnerick, Lisa Corrado and Elaine Retcho. He is also
survived by a host of nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Dennis' life celebration and visitation will be from 4:00-8:00PM Wednesday
January 13th at Gray Funeral Home, 318 E. Broad St. Westfield. His Mass
of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11AM Thursday January 14, 2021 at
St. Theresa Catholic Church, Kenilworth. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery,
