Obituary: Daphne Noel Burdett
Daphne Burdett, 95, formerly of Cranford, New Jersey,
passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022, surrounded by family.
She was better known as "Dee" by all who knew her.
Daphne was born June 20, 1926, in Hearts Content,
Newfoundland, Canada, the daughter of Charles & Beatrice
Butt. She married Stanley Burdett in May of 1960, at Osceola
Presbyterian Church in Clark, NJ, and together they had four
children.

Mrs. Burdett loved the church, sung in the choir and was truly devoted to God
and her faith. She was employed as a secretary, working at Trinity Episcopal
Church in Cranford, NJ; St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Westfield, NJ;
Osceola Presbyterian Church on Clark, NJ and spent more than 45 years in
employed service to the church. She retired at the age of 85.

Mrs. Burdett was preceded in death by her husband Stanley who passed
in August of 2009. She is survived by her son & life partner Christopher
Burdett & Cindy Niven, daughter & son-in-law Dorothy & Forest
Honeywell, daughter & son-in-law Barbara & John Nacca, son &
daughter-in-law Richard & Anne Burdett; Grandchildren Ralph &
granddaughter-in-law Nicole Guarino, Mario Guarino,
Amanda Burdett, Damian Burdett, Nick Nacca, Great Grandchildren RJ & Joey
Guarino, and great granddaughter Brooke Stewart.

Mrs. Burdett wished that her passing be simple. There will be no memorial service
held, but the family asks that she be remembered in the hearts of friends and
family through continued service to God and the church.
