Claudia Haller

Claudia Haller (nee Cagnassola), 82, a lifelong resident of Westfield, passed away on Friday December 5, 2025. A 1962 graduate of Westfield High School, Claudia received a Bachelors degree from Kansas State University. She worked for many years at Charlie Brown's Fresh Grill Restaurant in Scotch Plains, where she was a hostess and manager. A member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Westfield, Claudia was an officer of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post #3 Westfield, and a member of the Deutscher Club of Clark, NJ. She was the beloved daughter of the late James and Catherine (Ratti) Cagnassola. Claudia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, retired Westfield Police Officer Charles A. Haller. She was the beloved sister of the late, Anne Probst, Catherine Stephens, and James Cagnassola. Claudia is survived by her brother: Frank Cagnassola, nephew: Jeffrey D. Cagnassola, niece: Michelle Scarpulla, and other nieces and nephews. Claudia's visitation will be on Tuesday December 16th, from 1:00-5:00PM at Gray Funeral Home, 318 E. Broad St., Westfield. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00AM Wednesday December 17, 2025, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 315 First St., Westfield. burial will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ.
