Christine Jacoby, 92, of Cranford, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 25, 2016.
Born in Newark, NJ on august 26, 1923 and resided in Cranford for 63 years. It was there that she enjoyed entertaining and cooking for her family and friends, "The Pomi Debs". She retired as a bookkeeper from union center national bank in 1987.
She was predeceased by her parents Angelo and Angela Marino, her loving husband frank of 60 years who passed away in 2003. And her brothers Salvatore and Joseph Marino.
She is survived by her daughter Joanne Jacoby of Manahawkin, NJ and her loving grandsons William Anner of Colonia, NJ and Christopher Anner of Sayreville, NJ. A daughter in law Maryanne Anner along with her cherished grandchildren Daniel, Michael and Marcie Lynn. Also surviving is her sister Catherine Brzezinski of Glen Mills, Pennsylvania and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation and life celebration will be on Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm at Gray Memorial Funeral Home in Cranford. Funeral mass will be 10:30 am Wednesday March 30, 2016 at St. John the Apostle R.C. Church in Clark, with burial to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. You may go to grayfuneralhomes.com for on line condolences.
